Qeshm is the largest island in the Persian Gulf. This first Geopark in Iran embraces a collection of geological, natural, historical and cultural features, making it unparalleled in its unique attractions. In 2006, Qeshm Geopark registered on the list of the world Geoparks Network. What has turned Qeshm to an exceptional place and what led to its being registered on the list of World Geoparks is such different attractions coming all together in one island can rarely be found elsewhere in the world.
Journey 2 Iran
Visit Harra forests. Visit Chahkooh, All natural forces gathered throughout the years to form thisphenomenon and put the art of nature on display. Cave Khorbas is another natural attraction that you are going to visit today.
Gulf before noon at close range. Next, we plan to have a visit of launch building workshops. Traditional skills in launch building and sailing is registered in the List of Intangible Cultural Heritage in Need of Urgent Safeguarding. If we have enough time, we will also pay a visit to Crocodile Farm.
On this day, you will sail to land of colorful soils in Hormuz Island. Hormoz Island is itself a salt dome which has head out of the waters in Hormoz strait. In this island you will see The Portuguese Castle, the Sculpture Velley and some other attractions. In the afternoon you will move back to the Qeshm Island.
Sea themed entertainment. If you are interested, you can visit Qeshm Shopping center. Saying goodbye to the largest island of Persian Gulf and flight.

1- Qeshm Island is a free-trade port governed by Iran government. If you want to enter Qeshm Island from a foreign airport, for instance Dubai International Airport, just to visit the island, you do not need to apply for and obtain Iran tourist visa. However, if you want to get to Iran after visiting Qeshm Island you need to obtain visa. To apply for and obtain visa you can go to the Iran ministry of foreign affairs branch in Qeshm Island and easily obtain visa to get to Iran.
