Today we will visit Firuzabad County to watch nomads’ carpet-making skills. The difference of nomads’ carpet weaving with other parts of Iran is that many of them make carpets in an abstract way and with no design and this is why no two carpets are identical. As Safavid kings were interested in arts, since the 16^th century AD, Isfahan turned into one of the most beautiful cities in Iran and some of the most renowned Iranian painters, carpet makers, and musicians have lived in Isfahan. Formerly and currently, carpet designers of Isfahan were greatly influenced by tile work design and historic buildings of the city like Chehel Sotoun, Chaharbagh School, and Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque, and they have decorated their designs inspired by the beautiful figures of these buildings. In the magnificent Naqsh-e Jahan Square, we will visit historic places and carpet shops. If possible, we will pay a visit to a dyeing workshop. O/N in Isfahan

Traveling from Isfahan to Kashan. Kashan was as well one of the most important cities making handmade carpets. One third of the city dwellers make carpets. Two third of the carpet weavers are women. The style of Persian weaving, which is known as the asymmetrical knot, is used in Kashan with an exceptional elegance. Traveling from Kashan to Qom. You can see easily the skillful adaptation from all carpet-weaving styles of Iran in Qom carpets. Silk carpet of Qom is among the most beautiful silk carpets in Iran. You will visit the traditional carpet markets and workshops of Qom, and in the evening, we will accompany you to Tehran Imam Khomeini International Airport.
