Arrival at the international airport of Tehran. You will be welcomed by your tour guide and you will be accompanied you to your hotel residence in the city of Tehran.

Just like every other capital in the world, Tehran is quite vibrant and full of life. It is the beating heart of the economy of Iran so silence doesn’t mean anything in this city; a modern city, that is home to the most significant political, cultural, scientific and cultural centers in Iran. 

The itinerary of the first day would include the fascinating experience of learning and cooking a Persian meal in a Persian house.

The itinerary is scheduled in a way to make it possible for you to see both the attractions of Tehran and the routine life of people on your own, and at the same time, experience a complete cooking session; from buying the ingredients to cooking the dish.

For preparing the ingredients, you will go grocery shopping at a fruit store, a supermarket and spice shop and see the fruits and the spices in the bazaar. While doing your grocery, you will also visit Tajrish Traditional Bazaar and Emamzade Saleh Shrine. In the morning, you will visit Golestan Museum-Palace which represents an important part of contemporary art in Iran (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Then, after having your lunch in a well-known traditional restaurant in the Bazaar of Tehran, you will continue your way to Kashan, the city of traditional houses and rosewater. On this day, you will visit Fin Garden which is one of the nine Persian gardens inscribed in UNESCO and get acquainted with the architecture of Persian Gardens. After that, you will head for a rosewater distillation workshop which will be a very attractive part of your day. In the afternoon, you will move to the historical city of Esfahan. Visiting Naqsh-e Jahan Square that is the most glorious square in Iran. (UNESCO.W.H.S). After that, visiting Assar Khane Shahi (Royal Oil Mill). In the past, this place was used to extract oil from oil-breeding grains and also for grinding turmeric and pepper. Overnight stay in Esfahan

you will visit the historical bridges of Esfahan and then leave this city for Varzaneh Desert. For those who have never had the experience of seeing a sand desert, getting to visit a desert landscape is going to be an extraordinary feeling. Just like every other village, people in Varzaneh used to be farmers in the past and before the advent of water drain pumps, they used a cow for getting water out of well which was about 50 years ago. On this day, you will be able to see this process in person. Next, you will have a stop at a pigeon house.In the past, pigeon waste was used as fertilizer. Chardin, the frech globetrotter, Madame Dieulafoy and a couple of other well-known travellers have mentioned this pigeon house in their memoires in terms of their importance in agriculture at that time. Moving from Varzane to Faragheh village in Abarkooh, a city in Yazd province. During the month of March, apricot blossoms make this place extraordinarily beautiful. Faraghe village is a green gem at the heart of the central desert of Iran. Leave Faraghe village and make your way to Farse province, the agricultural pole of the country of Iran. You can find almost every agricultural product of the whole country in this province, for it is a four season province. While during the month of March the northern peaks of this province are covered in snow, in the south, the farmers are harvesting their plants and the weather is extremely hot. En route, you will visit Pasargadae, the mausoleum of Cyrus the Great, the founder of Achaemenid dynasty (UNESCO W.H.S). There are a couple of nice ecolodges in Pasargadae where amazing local dishes are prepared. After having lunch, you will head to Persepolis, the ceremonial capital of Achaemenids. (UNESCO W.H.S) and if you are left with enough time, you will also visit Naqsh-e Rostam. Overnight stay in Marvdasht, one main producer of agricultural products in Iran.

 This day will be devoted to visiting medicinal herb farms. The climate of Iran is among the most suitable ones for farming medicinal herbs. They can be processed and introduced to market in different ways. There are very interesting and didactic points about medicinal herbs that you can learn about on this day. Overnight stay in Shiraz, the city of orange blossoms.

In March, the city of Shiraz is filled with the heartwinning aroma of orange blossoms. In the morning, you will visit the Pink Mosque which is quite popular among the tourists. Then, you will have the chance to see Qavam Orangery. In that season, it will be drowned in orange blossoms. If you are interested in buying handicrafts such as Gelim, Gabbeh, and carpets you can arrange it with your tour guide and have a walk around Vakil Bazaar. In the afternoon, you will go to a beautiful garden in the city of Shiraz and participate in a distillation workshop while getting familiar with different kinds of therapeutic herbs. Nomadic lifestyle is the most ancient style of living among human beings. Their unique way of living has made them interesting enough to be called “the most arresting attraction in the age of technology”. In a very astounding way, nomads have managed to stay loyal to their traditions throughout centuries. Due to its strategic location, Iran has always fallen witness and experienced this phonomenon and is considered as a nomadic region. For seeing nomads and getting to know their lifestyle, you will leave Shiraz and go to Sepidan. You will pay a visit to a trout fish farming center, as well. At the end, you will return to Shiraz.
