This World Tourism Day, we, as tourism professionals in Iran, are celebrating under circumstances very different from what we are used to.
Following the attacks on Iran in recent months and the cancellation of some flights, fewer international travelers are visiting Iran, and the income of many people working in tourism has dropped to a minimum.
But there is also something deeply encouraging.
Many travelers who have visited Iran and were once our guests continue to message us, asking how we are doing and whether we are safe. And many people who have never been to Iran have become curious about our country and want to learn more about it.
For us, this means a lot. ❤️🩹
Tourism is not only about destinations, flights, hotels, and itineraries. It is also about people, connections, and the friendships that remain long after a journey ends.
We hope that as these difficult times pass, the way will once again be open for people from all around the world to discover Iran, meet its people, and experience its beauty for themselves.
