“Journey2Iran” hosting the ambassador of Netherlands in Iran

In the week of Shiraz, when the aroma of orange blossoms had filled the city, I was honored to host Mr. Jacques Werner, the respected ambassador of Netherlands and his lovely family. The peace and dignity of Mr. ambassador, and the kindness and warmness of his respected wife, Mrs. Soraya Werner, made a nice and unforgettable memory of their presence in Shiraz for me. Especially, the fact that Mrs. Werner had really good information about history of Iran and history of art in the Eastern lands, was really interesting and impressive to me. The beautiful Nasir-ol-molk mosque, Qavam orangery, Seyyed Alaeddin Hossein Shrine, Eram garden, Persepolis, Necropolis, the tomb of great Saadi, tomb of Hafiz of Shiraz, was among the places that we visited during their stay.

I’d like to thank Dr Rahimi, the respected governor of Fars province and Dr Amiri, the CEO of Cultural Heritage Organization in Fars province, and the director and personnel of Shiraz Grand Hotel, for providing accommodation for Mr ambassador
